I bought it and Doesn’t connect to my doorbell so still use homebase 2😞
I added SSd storage but my camera and door bell does see the extra storage. So it was a waste of money.
Hi, are you saying you added your camera to the HB3 (Edge Connection), and the setup process didn’t bring you to the option to record onto the hard drive?

Yes it has been added to edge connection and no it did not bring me the setup for storage. I am using 2k Outdoors cameras and T8210 doorbell.

Why can’t they detect movement coming direct at them? Xfinity cameras do. Arlo cameras do. No matter how high the sensitivity. They will not recognize moving moving straight at it. Front door cam is useless.

How do I get split screen
I’ve had zero issues with my HB3 since purchased in January. I now have 2 4g starlight cams, 2 S330’s, 2K floodlight, (2) 2K pan/tilt indoors, and S100 wall light cam. All products have found and connected on first try with the exception of wall light cam, tricky. But as for clarity, storage, ease of use, and as of what I’ve experienced the compatibility is on point for the price. I understand most of you bought HB3 before I did and had to deal with the frustration of “false promises” but it seems compatibility and other features are coming online and working as well as could be expected. As long as Eufy keeps up this trend I’ll keep this cameras up until the sun don’t shine anymore. The one thing I don’t like but completely understand is that when I get a notification and immediately try to open it, I’m stuck on the decrypting scene usually until I hit retry. I get that the camera is transferring the video and decrypting while I’m trying to access and view which could cause issues, but I would rather have the option to be taken immediately to live view instead of seeing the clip that caused the notification. I can look at that later if I want to. That’s my request, and I can’t wait to see a 4k 360 cam. Keep it up Eufy, there’s a lot more that goes into what you’re providing, at a pretty damn reasonable price, than most people realize

I installed a 1TB WD SSD in my HB3. The app no longer shows the status of the local storage, only the SSD. The SSD always shows 100% available. So my question is does the local storage have to fill up before it starts recording to the SSD? How can I find out the status of the local storage?

The video recordings are stored in the extended hard drive as a priority and will be stored in built-in storage after HDD is full.
I know back then… You used to be able to see both storage in the app but, not sure if it was a app update or a firmware update when it ceased to do so.
