Don’t worry what’s in the box. Just drop it and see if you hear if something breaks.

What an ass!
Not only did he carelessly drop your package that could’ve damaged the contents, but he also decided to arrogantly walk across your front lawn and your neighbor’s front lawn instead of using the sidewalk two feet away! 
My advice…Write a short note on a blank note card saying the following:
“PLEASE USE CARE WHEN DROPPING PACKAGES OFF AT FRONT DOORS LOCATED ON __________ STREET…THANK YOU.”
Now toss the note into the Outgoing Mailbox if you have a community mailbox. 
Don’t include your name or anything else. I advised to include your street name just in case the delivery driver doesn’t look at the Outgoing Mail and ends up collecting it and bringing it all back to the Post Office to be sorted. That way the people sorting the mail will still see the note and will know who was working that street and hopefully pass the note along to management.
Sorry for the long explanation for such a simple task. I just wanted it to make sense. After doing all that, hopefully the next time the USPS driver pulls up in his clown car to drop off a package at someone’s door, maybe they’ll be more careful.
