I got the Eufy door bell and a thing called a Chime. Well… I must say what a shocking product this is! I can’t hear the so called chime which makes a strange noise. That is the thing they call chime which you plug in. Not like a door bell at ALL! I can’t barely hear it. Soo if someone comes to the dot they stand there all day. Brilliant.
The home bar makes a ding dong sound. Quite faint and not really loud at all. ( I’m 67 and my hearing is not what it used to be)
The base unit I’m has to be in the office, as that’s where the internet cable is. If I’m in the living area well then bad luck I’ll never hear the thing. There’s a delay in the message to the phone if someone’s at the door. The delay is LONG LONG.
Useless product. Chinese rubbish!
The Chime and the Homebase should have independent volume controls that you can adjust in the eufy app settings.
The Homebase is also capable of being wireless. So you can connect your home base to your wireless routers Network and disconnect your internet cable / ethernet cable from the home base which will allow you to move the home base to a different location in your home.
