Hi, I recently started a cloud back up trial, because my local storage started to NOT store anything longer than 4 days, I’ve been unable solve this issue.
Anyway, I created a pin to view on the web and when I try to view the ‘cameras’ it says ‘establishing secure connection’ (I can see all four cameras with the correct names), however they never connect, they just time out. “Request timeout. Please try again.”
If I go to ‘events’ I get a pop up window “To view Cloud Backup videos on the web, please disable this feature by going to the sidebar in the App > Control Center > Video Encryption > Cloud Backup Advanced Encryption > Remove Advanced Encryption.”
I did this, but still can’t play my videos. Can someone please assist me?
TIA

Not sure but maybe a WIFI issue? Can you see live views on your phone without any issues? Other than that I can only suggest to call
Eufy support they have always been helpful for me.

Yes, I can see them on my phone all the time. The laptop on which I’m trying to view them on has no issue connecting to the wifi, so that seems odd. I might call eufy, thanks.
Don’t know if you know it but when calling Eufy if you’re on hold for awhile a prompt will come on for a option to call you back instead of waiting on hold for awhile. I’ve always used it and they always call back. This is at least a option when calling from
Can I ask, did Eufy help with the Cloud backup advanved encryption problem
Sorry, but I have had time to revisit. I will soon and will leave an update here. Good news is that since I started paying for cloud storage, my videos are being store for more than four days. Makes me wonder if something is wrong with the home base/sd card.
