When, if ever will Eufy support Alexa properly?

I think it is time that Eufy make a statement about Alexa support. While they say they support Alexa, this is limited to only showing cameras on Show devices.
What is missing is the following:

  1. Two way voice communication with the doorbells (with Alexa. It makes no sense to show it on the Show devices but then you have to open the app on your phone to actually talk).
  2. Allow setting of Home and Away modes
  3. Allow Alexa routines to work with Door sensors.

In particular, Alexa finds the sensors, allows one to create a routine such as turn on a light when a door is opened but it never works. Same thing for Home and Away mode. Alexa sees that such items exist but then do not do anything with it.

Basically other than showing the cameras, nothing is possible beyond this. This is all not new. It was reported on this forum and many places TWO YEARS ago.

So, please Eufy, come clean. Say you are never going to support Alexa or tell us that the issue is with Alexa itself so that Amazon can fix this. Considering that you have a close relationship with Amazon, you could put pressure to resolve this.

If I would have known this from the beginning I would never have bought your products.

So please come clean here.

Ok, a little guidance from the Alexa development forum indicates that this is 100% a Eufy issue.
It is exposing the properties of the door sensor for example, but not the state.
Alexa reports that the door sensor is always open.
Come on Eufy, fix this. If I was on your development team it would be done today.
