Why do my camera stop when there is still motion in view?

Have you checked under camera settings? I have E330 which are powered camera but I assume that the settings are similar. Go to camera settings >video settings >recording settings and there you will find a slider for clip length you can set anywhere from 5 seconds to 2 minutes. Also a toggle to end clip if no more motion is detected.

U should check power options. There’s a point, where u can decide, how long the recording will go. I used advanced options and set my videos to 120 sec. If the motion stops, the recording will stop. Works good for me.

The solar powered cameras have limitations for recording, so the batteries don’t run down.
mine do the same
