why is the floodlight flashing on E340 during motion?

Do you have the light alarm when motion is detected engaged in the settings?

There is no setting to say flash the floodlight.
The floodlight should come on during motion but not flash.

Take a look in the Home and Away settings.
Security tab at the bottom of the eufy app > click on your camera or homebase > tap on the 
cog wheel to see more settings and look to see if light alarm check mark box is checked.
If things look good there, then you might want to try just killing power to the flood light for five minutes and then power it back up to see how it’s working

not sure what you are looking at but there is no security tab
there is Home,events,services,smart,shop
in the settings for the camera there is NO checkbox for “light alarm”
you must have different version.
EUFY have already replaced my camera under warranty.
If it’s a led they appear to flash when recorded.
Did you see it flashing while looking at it outside anytime other then on video
NOT the status LED.
the floodlight itself was flashing.

Simple, floodlight comes on then light reflects off the snow then shuts it back off.
I agree when the light comes on it’s bright enough to think it’s daytime. Does that camera have a setting to reduce the brightness a bit

Oh, my mistake it’s the Smart tab on the bottom you want to select.

This is from a different camera but you should see the same options for even more.

I had this happen as well. Changing the light alarm setting fixed it.
