When adding S4 camera to “HomeBase Connection” then “(camera) can join Edge Ecosystem” I get a message: “Please add HomeBase first before connecting to it”
Then I click Add HomeBase/ HomeBase Professional & get the “Set up HomeBase” window again.
I already did that & have Wi-Fi working.
My cameras & HB Pro S1 firmware is update & the HB Pro S1 is using 4G I just noticed. That must be why I was able to get Wi-Fi when setting up the HB Pro S1.
I tried again today & removed a eufyCam S4 & a eufy S340 security cameras.
Restarted the HomeBase Pro S1 (HBPro) & went through the steps again hooking the HBPro S1 w/ a ethernet cable & installed from scratch the S4 1st and still get the message: “Please add HomeBase first before connecting to it” so I just used the Wi-Fi choice & that worked for camera playing.
Next, I reinstalled from scratch the eufy S340 & I was given 2 choices for connections, 1 for Router & another for HomeBase Professional which I chose.
Sure enough I was connected to the HBPro.
Next, I reinstalled the eufy Video Doorbell & it connected to the HBPro fine also.
So now the only cross-camera tracking is on the 2 that were able to use the HBPro for its (sim card) signal.
The other 3 eufyCams S4 won’t connect to the HomeBase Professional. I suppose eufy will fix this BUG someday hopefully.
