Will the eufy add-on doorbell chime work without having a homebase? Or do I need to purchase a homebase with the doorbell chime?

I think if you’re using a wired eufy 2K video doorbell, the chime is compatible without additional gear. But if you have a battery-powered eufy doorbell, then you must have a HomeBase 2 or 3 along with a USB dongle to connect the chime.

I don’t have home-base and doorbell works fine

Mines not hard wired, battery chargeable

According to Amazon questions area it says no home base but only works with certain doorbells and only 2.4 WiFi
