New wired 2k video doorbell. Latest Alexa skill loaded as of Aug 31 2020. iPhone apps (Alexa & EufySecurity.)
Alexa integration apparently only allows for triggers when the doorbell is pressed.
I can see/find no feature to trigger based on motion detected on the camera.
Alexa does not know how to show me the camera live feed.
These are BIG feature gaps.
I want to detect and alert for unfriendlies / porch pirates who don’t ring the doorbell, not friendlies who ring the doorbell, DUH.
Will these feature deficiencies ever be fixed?

Even if you did there’s no auto live feed, it will announce the press etc and you can voice command to see what’s there.
Ring does have the integration, I’m not sure it’s Eufys fault that Amazon/ring are holding out on them, ring devices will announce movement if you want it to and from which device.
Yeah, sounds like RIng has it dialed in. But the monthly fees is not gonna earn them my happy face. That automatic live feed when motion is detected feature would be nice feature on eufy doorbellcams, indeed. Whole lotta work to see what is going on, by the time I do all that stuff, the culprit is probably long gone.
I do have the same issue coming from Ring device.
Even they only have alarm notification to homebase2 for motion detection. Why can’t Eufy set basic chime on motion detection ?
