Hi, our doorbell is showing offline on my partners phone, but works fine with my phone. So the problem isn’t the WiFi connection. I’ve tried deleting the device and then sharing it again, but it still comes back as offline. Any clues?
Are you both on the same platform?( Android or IOS) Are both apps updated? Is the doorbell actually working on your phone ( if someone rings does it show. Can you live view it)
The more detailed info you provide, the easier it is to suggest fixes.
Hers is iOS, mine Android. It had all been working until this week. The bell on the Homebase rings and I get the notification. So that part if the system is working. I can live view.
Is your partner’s IOS app up to date? The Android app is at version 4 now. I haven’t had an iPhone since the first model, so not sure I can tell you how to proceed. I hate to say it, but you might have to contact Eufy support. They aren’t very savvy, but maybe they have a secret setting that only applies to IOS.
If it were an Android device that was having the issue, I would say uninstall the Eufy app and grab an older version. Sounds like its something related to your partner’s network settings on her phone, rather than the Eufy IOS app. If you know someone else with Eufy app that works on an iPhone, check their settings and see if you can spot a difference.
