Please read the reddit thread above. Its about how the doorbell footage is removed from the homebase if someone was to steal it and reset it via the doorbells reset hole.
Try it yourself. Resync or reset the doorbell qnd the footage will be gone poof.

I’ve had it for a year and still eufy have not released any firmwares updates on this major flaw.
Not to mention how bad the sensors are at picking up someone on my doorstep.

Honestlt eufy you are pathetic.
You are not a security company just a greedy company who has no value for customers feedback.
Everyone else please read the above thread and save others from making the same mistake.

The same is true of all of their cameras that connect through the homebase (2, 2c, 2 pro, etc.). Eufy is WELL aware of this flaw and has been proming’ to fix it for a long time now…of course they havent yet. You’ll find that Eufy lies a lot. They also promised YEARS ago that they’d allow the USB port on the Homebase to connect to extended/additional storage…LOL - hope no one has been holding their breath.

Bottom line - anything that Eufy says they ‘will do’ (as in, in the future), they are (to date, as shown by actual evidence) absolutely, positively, without-a-doubt, 100% lying…full stop.
