What are the major benefits of using BionicMind™ AI ?

BionicMind™ can differentiate between family members and strangers, automatically splice together videos of the same event or person in order of occurrence by Cross-Camera Tracking, and uses self-learning algorithms after every facial and body shape scan to improve recognition accuracy.

Now, we will make your BionicMind™ AI accurate and practical through 3 Simple Steps:

Step1: How to set up AI facial recognition?

When the camera captures faces, HomeBase will generate a local collection for you, then will notify you and automatically perform some interactions when it sees a following person or stranger appear several times.

Additionally, Familiar Faces can be added via the phone camera or photo album, with configurable face names, relationships, and recognition actions. Now you can add Your frequently seen relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Step2: How to improve AI facial recognition accuracy?

Camera series products:

The camera should be placed 7-10 ft off the ground. And tilt the camera down at about a 5-15° angle.

Keep the PIR lens level for best results. Objects coming directly toward the center of the camera may not be detected. Position the camera so that movement goes across the lens’s field of view, triggering the PIR motion detection.

Avoid pointing the camera where unrelated cars or pedestrians pass by, toward a heat source such as an air conditioner or the sun, and installing it too close to lights.

Step3: Other factors affecting facial recognition.

Once you have completed the proper installation, it is important to note that the following factors may also affect AI facial recognition.

Lighting conditions like weak lighting and backlighting will also reduce the accuracy of facial recognition. You can purchase a smart fill light to help better illuminate faces in both scenarios.

Additionally, if a visitor walks toward your door at a speed greater than 3 mph (5 kph), or if your lens becomes dirty or foggy, Facial Recognition accuracy will decline.

Finally, after this detailed tutorial of [eufy essential], I believe everyone now understands how to improve AI facial recognition.

Beautiful app

These are super helpful, thank you

Thank you

Does the camera have to wifi to homebase to use ai? My router can reach several hundred feet from house but cameras complaining about signal on porch.

Excited!!

Hi, if you want stronger AI features, then Homebase3 is required. There are two options to connect the cameras to Homebase3:
(1) add the cameras directly to the Homebase3, and the Homebase3 is connected to the router.
(2) add the cameras via Multi-Bridge to the router, and the Homebase3 is connected to the same router.

Sorry, what is multi-bridge? A software or hardware? How to do that?

Great

How do I get my cameras to recognize thefts detection

This is very helpful

Yeah I’m wondering if it only works fully with Homebase? I ask because I have it on my doorbell (I don’t have Homebase ) and all it seems to do for me is not trigger the door notifications when it’s on familiar faces? It will trigger other “non” named faces but it’s actually confused me since I got it, just because I know the person doesn’t mean I don’t want a notification that they’re outside…. :woman_shrugging:t3:

Thanks :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

 Thank you
