Greetings, I have a S220 and has worked well for 6 months. Without making any adjustments to the settings it won’t activate at all when vehicles etc come within normal range. It will detect humans as per settings. I have checked settings several times with no success. Any suggestions?

Thank you all, this article is indeed very helpful. I just realized that my detection sensitivity was set too high, and I used to get so many event notifications that I didn’t even bother to look at them. :joy:

Try restarting device or delete device and add again. It worked for me!

My recordings almost always cut off too soon before the motion and even are truly over. For example, if some one is walking, then stops to look at something before continuing on, the recording stops mid-event with the person’s hesitation, then the rest of the even is missed due to the recording downtime. It seems you need to build in several more seconds of “padding” to all event recordings. I have tried adjusting zones, sensitivity, even camera placement and lighting/noghtmode, all to no avail and I’m very frustrated that the only solution is to set custom recording length and toggle the “no motion stop recording” to off. Then I end up having to store and watch videos where nothing happens for 90% of the recording. Total waste of time. But I do not trust the other settings because I keep missing part of the action, which is a very dangerous flaw that undermines the whole point of a security camera. Not at all secure.
