Anyone else’s solar camera continue to be “offline” throughout the winter? Either it’s not charging or today I guess it’s just too cold for it to work! Wondering if this is across the board or just with my camera! Seriously thinking about switching!!! Also, lag time to see who sets off camera is ridiculous! By the time it opens up, they are already gone!!! Are these common problems with this brand?
I have s3 pros around my house and the dual cam doorbell, no issues with mine. I’ve seen this issue on Reddit though. Personally i haven’t had any issues with eufy since switching from Ring, but I do see these issues quite a lot.
How cold is it where you’re at?
I found this info on the eufy website.
From -20°C/-4°F to 50°C/122°F
The devices can work normally within this temperature range. However, please note that the following issues can occur:
3°C/37.4°F: Devices will discharge quickly under this condition.
0°C/32°F: Devices will fail to recharge under this condition.
Below -20°C/-4°F
The devices’ built-in battery may stop working completely until the environment warms up again.
Thus, if your devices fail to recharge or they stop working completely in cold weather, please try to take the devices indoor or place the devices in a warmer location to verify if they can work normally again.
