I’ve disabled my Amazon eufy skill then re-enabled it and now it’s working again.
Strange
Just want to share my update and hopefully clarify for others who are still confused.
Today, after being broken since June 19, my Eufy C30 doorbell finally triggered my Alexa routine again — without me doing anything (no reset, no reinstall, nothing changed on my side). It just started working again.
Coincidentally, I noticed at least 3 other users today in this thread have also confirmed the same thing: suddenly Alexa started working with their Eufy doorbell again.
This proves 100% that the issue was with the Eufy Security Alexa skill or back-end service, not our devices.
In my case, I submitted logs multiple times to Eufy support, only to be told they expired or that my device was faulty. Eventually, I was given a 70% discount voucher to buy a new device — but now, clearly, the original device is fine. The fault was never the hardware.
I hope Eufy support takes this seriously and learns from it. Please don’t keep blaming users’ devices when the real issue lies in your system.
Sharing this for everyone’s reference — so you know you’re not alone, and you’re not going crazy. It’s a software/service problem, not your doorbell.
did you enable Alexa+? I did the early invite and now my Ring Doorbell works whenever it pleases… Half the time it doesn’t work and I get no video and no notifications so I rolled my Alexa+ to regular Alexa… I found this message because I was searching for the same problems with my Ring Doorbell door…
