C220 indoor cameras have problems with the automatic night vision mode

Hello,Since the firmware update on February 19th to version 4.0.5.0, my 4 C220 indoor cameras have problems with the automatic night vision mode which only turns off with direct light on the lens! As a result, they remain permanently in night vision mode! Does anyone else have the same problem as me?

I’m having the exact same problem. I have five cameras and all of them experience the same thing after update. I have to disable auto night vision then it comes back. Problem is these cameras settings won’t stay so then I just switches back to auto mode. So that’s another bug. Very frustrating my other Eufy cameras don’t have this problem. Just the C220

Do you have any feedback from customer service with new firmware?

Please send me a new firmware update because 4.0.5.0 broke the automatic night vision mode on my seven C220 indoor cameras !!!

Hi im having the same problem. I have to set Night Mode to Off and then change it back to Auto to get it out of Night Mode.

I’m also having the same issue, ever since the last update. Will there be a firmware update?

Same issue, pretty frustrating, if I set the night vision setting to “off” in the morning and then switch back to auto a few minutes later then it will happily switch to night mode at night when the lumens drop again, but will never switch to day mode on it’s own. Worked perfectly until the update. How is this a month long problem seems pretty easy to revert the change surely?

I am having the same issue with the C210. I have only had the camera for a week It is on 4.0.5.0 firmware. It is in the garage, and because of the issue it is also not detecting humans in the daytime as when the garage door is opened, the camera becomes saturated with light. Going by the comments this is a firmware issue so I hope it is updated soon or I will be returning it as faulty.

I have the same problem. Just got the camera, updated the firmware and the camera is stuck in night mode. Unless I manually turn it off and into automatic mode again, it than stays in daytime mode untill it gets dark again.

Same again here, night vision stays on unless you manually adjust it and even in direct light it still is hit and miss

El nuevo firmware 4.0.8.0 no resolvió el problema, La cámara continúa en modo noche a menos que manualmente haga el cambio.

I even have version 4.0.8.2, but unfortunately, there’s no improvement here either. The camera doesn’t switch back to day mode.
