Camera audio contains unexpected loud alarm sound

Using this camera for a couple of months inside a remote cabin, looking out a window. There has never been audio recorded because it’s in a closed building. The last few recordings from today contain a loud screeching repeating alarm sound, something that no device in the cabin can produce. There is no sound in live view.

Is this audio accidentally coming from some other random device in the Eufy community? Has anyone else experienced this?

Does your camera have the option to emit an alarm sound when it detects motion? If so, when you are in live view tap on the siren icon to see if it sounds the same.
I recall a post here, possibly 3 months ago that their camera had switched (by itself) to activate alarm / siren when motion is detected.
Firmware update glitch?

Thanks for ideas. My camera does not have a motion triggered alarm. The firmware is up to date. I restarted it. The sound still manifests on motion-triggered recordings.

That’s odd. Which camera model do you have?

I have the eufy Security Solo IndoorCam P24. I think I fixed this by reducing the speaker volume, which I’m not using anyway. It’s possible that this volume was changed during the recent firmware update, because the sound was not there a week ago. I suspect there was speaker-to-microphone feedback.
