Camera installed but as soon as we mount it on wall outside device disconnects. Any advice on how to fix this?

Get a wifi booster and that problem goes away
What is blocking your signal or interfering with it or what is your signals reach? My guess it’s one of those. The camera shows the signal strength on the app… As you walk to your desired location for placing the camera, check the signal as you go by going to on live viewinf mode on the app, before placing it in the desired location. That should give you an idea.
