Camera keeps losing WiFi connection and goes offline. Will only reconnect when I plug it in to charge using the Homebase. Other camera is working fine and further away from WiFi. Nothing has been charged or moved with WiFi. Seems to be a camera problem. I have removed and reinstalled camera to the hub but still losing connection. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any help is appreciated.
It sounds like a Wi-Fi issue connection, when you bring it back to the home base to charge it connects fine.
Either something is disrupting the Wi-Fi connection between HomeBase to that camera or the camera itself has a problem.
You say it’s closest to the HomeBase.
I would try this out, take 1 of the cameras that doesn’t have an issue with a Wi-Fi connection and swap its position out with that camera that has a Wi-Fi disconnect issue.
So basically just switch the two cameras mounted positions, and see if they both stay connected to Wi-Fi, this will let you know if it’s a camera issue or a Wi-Fi disturbance issue.
Did as suggested and it is the camera that has a problem. New camera arrived today and all is working perfectly.
Many thanks for your suggestion.
