Color Night Vision/Black and White Vision

Hi there, I have Eufy wireless doorbell and an additional camera 2 Pro. I have noticed at night, it shows color night vision for a second then switches automatically to only black and white night vision. How do I change on the app to only see color night vision? This is during any live streaming or recorded night clips.

There isn’t color night vision. The night vision is infrared vision. With most cameras you hear a click when it moves the IR filter and turns on the IR lights.
You can turn off automatic night vision in the settings and then you will keep color vision but it isn’t night vision.

Thank you for the explanation. You are right, I did hear the click noise when it switched the IR lights. If I do switch the auto off, then I won’t see the color at night or during the day? At night it will only be just black and white vision. I was hoping to have color vision permanently when it is recording day and night. It helps to identify what the person is wearing or what color is the vehicle.

If you turn off night vision you will get color video day and night.
Colour video in the dark isn’t really possible.

if you want to use normal video (not infared/nightvision) it helps if there is some light near by either a street lamp, security light, light shining from a window etc. the camera sensor does quite well if it is just supplied a little light but If it is total darkness you will not see anything.

I put the the auto off for night. It worked perfectly! Thank you!
