Connection to Video Doorbell Dual 2K lost when Homebase 2 switches to WiFi

Hello, I have set up my Video Doorbell Dual 2K Doorbell Dual 2K and Homebase 2 via ethernet. The doorbell is located 0,5meter from the router and the Homebase 2. Everything works flawless.

But I want to move the Homebase 2 to the living room and have it connected via WiFi. So I have configured and tested the WiFi connection on the Homebase. After the tests were successful I have moved the Homebase 2 to its new location in the living room. 5 meters away from the router. Within a few moments the red blinking light at the front of the Homebase turned blue and got connected to the WiFi network.

After these changes the connection to the Video Doorbell Dual 2K Is lost and I am unable to get it connected. I have tried to remove it from the Homebase and re-add it. Reset the doorbell, reset the Homebase, rebooted the router, tried the guest network, removed the doorbell from the door and placed it next to the Homebase during the pairing, but unfortunately nothing worked.

Is there anyone familiar with this issue and/or knows how to fix this ?

Video doorbell only support 2,4ghz.i believe?

Yes, that’s right. The Homebase is connected to the WiFi network on 2.4 ghz. But when it does, the doorbell gets disconnected and I am unable to connect it to the Homebase.

I read the Video Doorbell only supports HomeBase connected via wire, and not WiFi connection. I wasn’t aware of this when I bought it as well, but the doorbell wouldn’t pair unless my HomeBase was wired, and the moment I unplugged the HomeBase and switched to WiFi, the doorbell connection stopped working
