Do you think is worth switching your home base 2 for a home base 3?

I recently upgraded to the S380. It’s a big deal. The AI is off the charts. Very Cool. I’m still having an issue with arming the alarm that they are supposedly working on in support. Still waiting! I added a 1TB drive, took some patience but got it all working with multiple battery cameras as well as wired cameras. Lovin It! Even if it takes an extra step to arm the alarm.

I purchased and i stalled my system with the HomeBase 3, and never experienced HomeBase 2. However, Eufy has done a great job with their AI and large amount of user configuration capabilities. If you take the time to “dial in” all of the parameters for each camera in your system, I’ve found you can account for and capture nearly any situation. However, I’m am still working with Eufy support to work through why I’m still receiving an occasional alarm in the middle of the night on my S340’s for deer, cat’s, and other wildlife triggering the system for “Motion Detected” when I have “All Other Motion,” and “Pets” unselected to prevent animals and/or blowing ornamental grasses, trees, etc. from triggering an unwanted event. However, I’m covering a large 6 acre property in a rural suburb area where animals are abundant. I’m confident the AI and algorithms should allow me/us to get there.

I’m not really sure. Depends on how many different types of activities you are concerned about catching. If not a lot of activity overall, may not be worth it. But if you live in a busier, urban area with more disturbances, it might be worth considering.

Yes

I did, it feels like Home Base 3 has a better reach because I can connect to my cameras faster than before.

I would suggest so if it works for you financiallly

No.
While I would like videos of events stored off camera, I consider the HomeBase3 a failed and expensive experiment because of the ALLEGED AI.

I’ve upgraded but now everything is so slow, the app doesn’t update the videos very quickly, so I am constantly behind, yes I have video in the end but can take hrs
