Does anybody ha

Does anybody have any advice for setting up activity zones for houses close to a main road please? I have tired everything I can think of (human only, all activity, various sensitivities, various versions of activity zones) but motion is still being recorded even when this falls well outside of my set activity zone. Thanks!

i had the same issue I was getting constant alerts then had to set up activitiy zone close to my front porch and and untick all motion and set sensitivity to low

Eliminate any reflections. Try setting up 2 zones, one which encompasses anywhere with shadows or where headlights shine. Trial and error with those and sensitivity settings. Also maybe try privacy zones??

Oh, also try limiting motion only to “human” (or “pet” or “vehicle” etc) based on what is most important. First simply try deselecting the general “motion” category and see if that doesn’t help but then trial and error with categories and zones and sensitivity to figure out what works best for you in that environment.

Sorry–last things: can you place it at a steep angle facing more downward to reduce other farther unimportant motion triggers? OR place it somehow so that it is FACING your house, not away from it? (Though you may still pick up lights and reflections if you don’t adjust zones, privacy, etc…)
FINALLY: maybe also try toggling different night modes to see if that helps? Even IR and spotlight off might work if there is ample ambient light…
Let us know what the solution is–many of us have tricky locations.
