As far as I know, eufy only offers a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm listener

Nope, only a ā€˜alarm listenerā€™ pushing a message when the alarm sounds.

Personally, Iā€™m a little bit disappointed with this basic ā€œsmartā€ smoke detector from Eufy.
Itā€™s nothing more than simply registering on the Hombase and receiving a push notification when an alarm is triggered.

Thatā€™s why I created a separated topic with my ideas for a true Eufy ā€œsmartā€ smoke detector.
Iā€™m sure thereā€™s a market for this, because, for example, the popular Nest Protect smoke/heat/carbon detector is no longer produced. And the First Alert SC 5 copy is 120V only, and isnā€™t available in the EU.
There are other brands of smart smoke detectors with additional options and features, but all are 120V and lack EU certification.

What do you want it to do besides alarming the HB and sending you a notification? Isnā€™t that what all smoke alarms do. Iā€™m not being a wise guy just asking. I believe it also has itā€™s own built in siren
