Personally, I’m a little bit disappointed with this basic “smart” smoke detector from Eufy.
It’s nothing more than simply registering on the Hombase and receiving a push notification when an alarm is triggered.
That’s why I created a separated topic with my ideas for a true Eufy “smart” smoke detector.
I’m sure there’s a market for this, because, for example, the popular Nest Protect smoke/heat/carbon detector is no longer produced. And the First Alert SC 5 copy is 120V only, and isn’t available in the EU.
There are other brands of smart smoke detectors with additional options and features, but all are 120V and lack EU certification.
