Hi,
my doorbell recently reported that it was too hot and I removed it from the wall to cool down.
At what sort of temperature does the doorbell report this?
What have other people done to try and protect the doorbell, Is a sun canopy an idea?
I’m worried that if this happens when I’m away from home I come back to a failed doorbell that needs replacement.
Thanks
D
I would recommend checking the manual to see if it has a listed temperature
.
There is a a firmware update coming soon to fix the problem. I tend to just cover mine with a sheet of paper for half an hour if it gets too hot.
I think on this thread someone might be working on a solution potentially
Could you let’s us know when the update comes. My doorbell overheats in 80 degree temperatures . The Ring doorbell it replaced never overheated.
