Hi, is this a feature? I have it on all my other eufy cameras but there is no playback option for the 2K doorbell cam and it only begins recording when motion is detected, and after a second or two at that - knowing what happens prior and longer afterwards is very important to me.

Hi, this video doorbell has no playback at all because it is battery-powered, unlike others that are wired. Playback is a feature for wired cameras.
You’re telling him that you can’t get playback from a battery camera? Are you insane? Of course you can get playback. Why else have a camera. To see who was there. You see who stole your package. To see if it’s someone you know. I hey playback from my battery cameras all day. Except now when they are broke and my home base 3 decided to not answer anything. I hair 6 eufy cams. They rarely work.
