Doorbell is set to receive all motion, the motion range/sensativity has also been set, the entire front lawn and part of the road. Nothing records unless you are close to the camera and human or if you ring the bell, not one motion for a car has come up. I’ve reset the home base and door bell several times, still no motion for cars minimal if any for humans. I’ve tried everything.
Hello this has all been done and the doorbell still does not catch morion of cars only humans, close up. All settings have been checked, reinstalled, memory card repaired and formatted and all connections are working as well as the doorbell/camera.
I’ve got the same issue. The manuals state however that motion will be detected within 6 and 10 feet I think, so if you measure from the camera, which is likely 6+ feet off the ground, then yes you don’t get anything very far away. It’s disappointing but I think it’s just how they are. I expected to get someone at the end of my drive but I don’t catch them until they’re basically under the camera.
Thank you for this!!! It is so sporadic. Frustrating because I went from a Ring doorbell to this and it seems to have been a downgrade and headache. Not really worth the aggravation. I appreciate the feedback!!!
Sorry it wasn’t more positive news. Do you think the detection on the ring doorbell was better? As in, it detected things further away? I went all in with two cameras and a doorbell from eufy so I feel somewhat committed now. The detection is disappointing for sure and I find it very slow at times to alert me. A friend has ring and says the same about the alerts and his image quality isn’t as good as the eufy, but his yard is much shorter so the distance isn’t comparable.
