Doorbell (wifi) not connecting to wifi

I have checked all my settings and they are as recommended - any clues as to why my doorbell doesnt connect to the wifi?

Hey,

If your settings all look good, here are a few things that might still be causing the issue:

  • Wi-Fi frequency – Make sure your doorbell is connecting to a 2.4GHz network (not 5GHz). A lot of Eufy doorbells don’t work with 5GHz.
  • Signal strength – If your Wi-Fi signal is weak at the doorbell’s location, it might struggle to connect. A Wi-Fi extender or moving the router a bit closer can help.
  • Router settings – Sometimes things like MAC filtering or AP isolation can block devices from connecting. Worth a quick check in your router settings.
  • Try a reboot – Restart both your router and the doorbell. You can press and hold the sync button on the doorbell for about 10 seconds to restart it.
  • Firmware – Make sure your doorbell and (if you have one) the HomeBase are up to date in the Eufy app.

If nothing works, it might be worth removing the doorbell from the app and setting it up again from scratch — that’s sorted it for me before.

Hope that helps!
