Eufy 2c Wired Doorbell Wifi Problems

Hi 2C wire Doorbell has been intermittent possibly for sometime over wifi, but latest outage and reboot, I cannot connect to any other local wifi network although 2 other 2.4Ghz and 2 Other 5Ghz Ap’s are available, even other households near by are not listed only item show is one 2.4Ghz Mixed N.G/AC AP with WPA2 , but any attempt to connect gives a WEP error message, its not using WEP but WPA2 TKIP with SHA256 or AES encryption. No other APs are listed nor does it see any new APs i add or remove either, the 1 that remains, never connects but errors with WEP message although there are 4 other APs are within 5 meters…

Have factory reset (button behind) and can connect with bluetooth but still cannot connect to wifi when readding. please advise next steps. The door bell itself functions as a doorbell still to the remote bell but thats all now

additional. The issue appears to be related certain routers.

UK Telecom Branded BT Smarthub works with their own BT firmware but…(so issue resolved for now…)

But Linksys WRT3200ACM (Linksys Stock Firmware) nor OpenWRT on a WRT1900AC nor DD-WRT on another WRT3200ACM appears to be found or selectable. Please clarify if this possibly is a EUFY supported Router hardware whitelist or alternatively blacklist related ? please advise

further update…the doorbell continues to drop the wifi connection, daily. It requires powering off each time for a minute or so, and will reconnect but its the only device on this router and still drops. Not impressed. :frowning:
