We have a Camera looking at our driveway and street. It usually picks up vehicles when they are leaving, but seldom picks up vehicles entering our drive. It usually picks up the school bus and trash truck on the street.
Camera is charged and has signal strength of 3 bars. Camera is mounted appropriately 9’ high.
A lot of motion sensors don’t do to well with straight on detection, like movement heading straight towards it, until you’re about 7 ft in front of it then it detects. Movements from the sides much better, like approaching from 20° to 45°.
If you think this is your scenario try angling the camera a bit so you still can view your driveway.
