E330 eufyCam: No Continuous Monitoring?

I got my E330 kit today, which includes 4 cameras and a Homebase 3. I buy this because I want 24/7 recording no matter there is detected motion or not.

But in the Eufy app, there is no option to do continuous monitoring in the screen that other people online choose “Continuous Recording”. The camera only records when motion is detected. There are even options to set length of recorded clips?!!! Images are shown below. What could be wrong?

I’m quite sure that the only way eufy cameras are operating is based on movement detection so no option to record 24/7. You can contact their support to confirm. I do recommend to do research before purchasing kit like this :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

The e330 always records around the clock if a hard drive is inserted. In addition, markers are set when movement is detected. However, you can also view past recordings without motion detection, depending on the size of the hard drive. 10 percent remains free, after which the oldest recordings are overwritten.

Your cameras setting image you provided is missing that it isn’t connected to the home base Edge connection.
It should also give you the option to join/connect to the HomeBase3 Edge connection.
Perhaps your camera isn’t linked to the HomeBase3?

Check out this web link it might help you out

@jd164 is correct.

You should have this ‘Edge Connection’ module, then click it, you will find the 24/7 recordings.

I sent this post last month, and don’t know why it disappeared & showed up again with all comments missing. From the last post, I got help from the community, and fixed the issue by updating the firmware on the camera device. Seems the options connecting to Homebase won’t appear without the update. Thank you all for helping!

(I also had a post previously about e330 bandwidth consumption that disappeared. Don’t know what’s happening. I finally resolved it by getting a new wifi which doubles the upload speed to 100Mbps to support my 6 cameras.)
