Hi all,
I have several E330 Professional cameras and most are connected to a single HB3 which recently updated to 3.5.4.8 and I have noticed some new odd behaviour with the blue/red LED. I am noticing on certain cameras now that if I stand in front of it the LED blinks blue then red then blue then red until I move out of sight so I was wondering if Eufy has updated this to show it is detecting an event and recording as previously the LED was just solid blue when connected and working well and red if there was an issue. The thing is not all of the E330 connected to this HB3 do this odd blinking. I also have a single E330 connected to another HB3 at the front of my house as the signal wasn’t great connected to the main HB3 and this HB3 is still running 3.5.3.1 and that camera isn’t blinking it just stays solid blue.
I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this or knows any info about it?
Unfortunately eufy software team does not care much about messages or does not respond. I will try to help. If the blue light is flashing on E330, most probably - (Option 1, Someone is watching the live camera) (Option 2, Trying to connect to Hb3) but usually it flashes red or goes completely red if the connection with hm3 is lost.
I am experiencing what you said on my E340 floodlight, the status led turns red, sometimes it stays blue for a long time, and sometimes there is a blue interruption. As if there is a connection drop. But when I check the past records, the signal is not broken. The Hb3 device uses a lower frequency band. There may be a ping issue related to that.
Hi,
My issue is there is a new light flashing mode which was not happening prior to the recent HB3 update. The LED flashes blue then red then blue then red and keeps doing this until I move out of sight of the camera like it is a new mode to show motion detected. It seems odd they would do this but it isn’t because someone is watching the camera and there is not connection issue so I am confused and just want to know why it is now doing this?
