Five E330 professional cameras all have blinking red led

I have 5 new E330 Pro cameras. I had all 5 connected to my Homebase 3. All 5 were working welling for a about a 5 days.

At 2:18AM the other day we had a power outage.

In the morning, when I woke up, all 5 E330 cameras had a blinking red LED light.

All 5 cameras were “offline” in the Eufy App. No amount of unplugging/replugging the cameras/homebase would allow them to reconnect.

I understand that I need to resync each camera w/ the homebase.

The problem is all 5 cameras are mounted (screwed) into the side of my house, and I would need to physically unscrew each mount to bring the camera inside the house to resync it.

While this is doable this is obviously a horrible problem to have every time the power goes out.

Is there any way to resync these cameras remotely?

If not, I plan to remove/return all the cameras, cause I don’t plan to do this every time the power goes off.

I hope someone replies back that has experienced this issue. If this happens every time a power failure occurs, it’s a terrible design flaw and should be reported to eufy support.

My other eufy wireless and powered cameras will Auto reconnect to my Wi-Fi when power is restored.

Resyncing the cameras, well this thought isn’t ideal but, you could try bring the HomeBase
close to the camera, like use an extension cord and resync the cameras.

I did take the homebase outside and was able to sync one camera back up yesterday, but I was kinda irritated the whole time, because this is non-sensical.

How do I report this to eufy support? Their chatbot was worthless.

FWIW I spoked with Eufy Customer Support. I was speaking to a live person within 5 minutes.

She told me that my problem is common with hard wired cameras when the power goes out. She said “management knows” but there is no resolution beyond unscrewing the cameras and resyncing with the Homebase.

She gets a few calls like mine a day she claimed.

That being said, I was able to get a free return label from Eufy to return the cameras.

Wonder if this is just an issue with the E330 Pro cameras?

My Outdoor Cam E220 which is hard wired / USB powered doesn’t have this issue.

We’ve had 3 E330’s just flat out die - no power outages or anything. Sometimes unplugging the cord from the back of the camera would work but most of the time not. These are mounted 14ft up under our soffits so NOT easy to get to.
One replacement they sent would never connect to our network, another didn’t power up and the 3rd replacement finally worked. In 4 months they’ve had to send us no less than 5 replacements under warranty for equipment that just spontaneously fails
