The box indicated that the device supported HomeKit, but the cameras were not listed under the “Add HomeKit” section in Homebase 3.
I’m wondering if HomeKit is supported with the E42.

I have the same issue and so far Eufy Support have not given me a solution, but haven’t said that they aren’t compatible. If you find a solution then please let me know. If I can’t solve this I will be returning mine.
If there is no solution. They will have 2 returns. I’m still waiting for a response from official support.
I have been told there is an update coming out that will have a fix. However, been told of a beta version I can access if I want in the meantime. Not tried it yet
It has been 3 days and still nothing from support. I would not mind trying the beta.
I been running the beta for a day. it seems to been working. I was informed 5.2 will be out by the end of the month. So, in the next few days for the official release.
How can I get access to the beta?
5.2 is in App Store, no need for beta.
Still working well?
It generally works well. Occasionally, I encounter a “cameras not responsive” error in HomeKit, but rebooting the base resolves it. I’ve been experimenting with my router settings, and that might be the cause. I’m keeping them, whatever that means. ![]()
how did you get this to work? just installed my e42 and homekit will not recognize it.
did you use the eufy app to add the cams to HomeKit?
I do not see an option to do that in the camera settings of the Eufy app.
It is set up and working well in the Eufy App, but I do not see any settings to add the camera to HomeKit.
