Entry sensors weatherproof?

Hi

Can someone please advise me if the entry sensors are able to be used outdoors?

They aren’t designed for outdoor use, but if you wrap them in silicon tape they should still work fine. Somone even made a cover out of the packing plastic that came with the sensor.

It’s not weatherproof in the sense that you can put it up in the rain.
I have a sensor on my garage door (a normal door on the side) and the magnet is on the door, sensor on the door frame. Works fine. If that’s weatherproof eligible for you, then I guess you can use it outdoors.

I use mine out in the rain on garden gates
I coated mine with conformal coating, been outside for a year, pressure washed, storms etc & work perfectly
