If my eufy 2k doorbell camera’s wifi connection is broken why does the app warn of lost signal and why does it not keep recording when no signal?

It’s the Homebase2 that’s alerting you since that has a connection to your homes router
Now the Homebase2 and 2K battery doorbell connect to each other via their “own” Wi-Fi network. If that connection is lost between them, the Homebase2 will warn you… and since the connection is lost the 2K doorbell will not be able to record on to the Homebase2’s on board recording storage.
You need to move the Homebase2 a bit closer to the 2K doorbell for a better wi-fi connection between them while trying to keep a good connection from your homes router to the HomeBase2.
