Since a couple of weeks me and my girlfriend have the same issue, when the Eufy app is in geofencing mode the battery depletes very quickly… See also the attached photo, eufy app using 78%.
Does anybody have the same issue?

Yep, same here. I switched from an Arlo Pro 2 system, which I had for many years and never had this problem. I love my new Eufy system (eight S300 and four S330 cams), but this is a massive drawback.
At first, in geofencing mode, the system wouldn’t turn itself off when I came home. Now it seems to turn off, but it drains my phone’s battery. I’m not sure if it’s worse when we leave the house or not, but it’s to the point where I can’t use it. And who can remember to turn the thing on and off each time you leave and return???
