Did your doorbell come with a release pin?

Did you save the little Eufy key? It’s a larger version of what comes with cell phones. Gotta stick that in the hole on the bottom and it will pop right out.

Must use the pin. Grasp it at the top finger and thumb either side and pull gently towards you and downwards 45 degrees

You can use a straightened out paper clip also, but be sure to insert it into the correct hole…
Check the owner’s manual, you don’t want to insert it into the speaker in error.

Push in the pin hard, but not to hard as it might snap

Did you succeed in getting the doorbell off the mount? I’m having the same issue and it’s getting more difficult each time I take it off for charging. I wonder if the little bit of plastic we’re pressing down with the pin may be deteriorating

This Youtube short shows how to remove the doorbell to charge the battery.

Use the pin and pull

i’ve had this happen to me on a few occasions and I’ve noticed that a couple of times I was grabbing the sides of the bracket as well as the battery so it wouldn’t budge. Also, I was trying too hard to pull it out and it’s very easy to come out when you do it very gently. Hope that helps.

I’ve always had issues even with the pin. I ended up buying a longer sim release pin from a third party and use it to wiggle around in the slot. After a while the clips that hold the device in will get old and stop clicking in right. You also need to tighten the back screws sometimes to make sure that the device is as flush as possible to the wall.
Ive seen some third party brackets that seem to remove the issues, but never tried one. I’ve just tried to be gentle on reseating the thing and keeping the clip holes clean.

If you’ve lost the pin, try a straightened paper clip as mentioned. But if that doesn’t work, order a dirt cheap longer SIM card ejector/pin from temu or Amazon.
