Eufy E340 Doorbell + Wifi chime

Hi everyone,

ive got the E340 doorbell with homebase 3 and a wifi chime.
When i try to add the wifi chime in the eufy app i get the message ‘Fail connected’.
On iphone i can connect to the chime wifi network without a password but when i try it on a android phone i need a password to connect to the network.
Does anyone have a solution or know the password of the local chime wifi hotspot?

Hello, did you get a solution for this? There is a set up code underneath my chime but that also doesn’t work

Yes i found a solution. Instead of manually connecting to the chime WiFi network you just click next in the setup and the app will automatically connect to the broadcasted WiFi network. This is the only way to successfully complete the installation in the app.
