After the recent firmware issues with the Outdoor Cam Pro, I’m seriously considering switching systems.
It seems like Eufy has been falling behind in terms of technology over the past few years. Some points I’ve noticed:
- Most Eufy cameras still only support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
- Basic AI detection on Eufy compared to competitors
- False notifications and activity zones not being respected
- Reolink’s app offers more customization and optimization
- Reolink has a wide range of 4K resolution cameras, while most of Eufy’s lineup is still stuck at 2K
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with both systems.
Has Eufy really lost its edge in terms of tech and overall quality compared to Reolink?
