Hi, can anyone tell me how I can do a factory reset on a EufyCam 2c. I removed the cam from the homebase in the app and now I want to add it again. But the cam does not beep when I’m pressing the sync button for 2 seconds.

Reset the camera, by pressing the sync button on the camera 5 times in rapid succession. It should beep and shut down. Wait 30 secs then re-sync to Homebase. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much, I did press the camera 5 to 6 times and suddenly there was this beep.
later I could add it to the system the casual way.
hmm with mine even after being on charge over night i cant get it to beep. i have tried the 5 short presses and the LED flashes quickly but no beep. i can press and hold and the LED flashes slowly but again no beep and it wont connect 
i guess the camera is dead
Try holding the sync button for 10 seconds. Be aware that any stored video will be wiped from the homebase for that cam when you do this.
I did both the 5 presses and the 10sec hold. No blue light or any beeps. I guess my 2C is dead? I have it plugged in to a power source just to make sure it’s got power. Nothing I do gets the blue light to come on.
If you are handy, you can pry open the case and replace the battery pack. That might get it working again. I did that for 2 Cam E’s that had bad batteries. It does mess up the waterproof rating and its not trivial to get the camera sealed well again, but a battery pack is a lot cheaper than a new camera.
