Events not recorded on eufy s3pro last two days. However it was recording events when initially set up last week. Only new variable is I transferred from iPhone 12 to iPhone 16 but I wouldn’t expect this to change the camera capture of events. Any suggestions.
Do you have a HB…?
Yes
And now I can’t open the eufy app on the new phone. Any suggestions
Try going into the settings of the phone and search for the eufy app then clear the apps cache.
When you say you transferred to the new iPhone did it also transfer the eufy app or did you download it from the App store?
If it was transferred, then I would download it from the App store.
Maybe delete the whole app and reinstall afresh.
I’m just taking a guess… but I would think the recording issue is because you’ve reached your storage limit… try clearing your storage…
If that dont get it, try restarting your HB, it might just need to be rebooted…
They get a little funky sometimes…
Thank you all for your suggestions. I have 88% available storage. And a fresh install of eufy. I’m not sure I deleted earlier transferred app completely before the reinstall. How do you clear the cashe as was suggested? Anyone know…
What happens when you open the app? Does it just shut down? Have you tried powering down the phone and powering back up? Also, maybe try turning off WIFI (not the same as airplane mode) to test and see if it works over cellular?
Tap on the Settings icon and then choose General. Tap on the section iPhone Storage. Shortly, all apps and their storage usage will be listed. Choose the app for which you wish to clear the cache .
Switching to a new phone shouldn’t change the settings for a camera as you mentioned.
I Would also reboot / restart the HomeBase to see if the camera will start recording.
Just unplug the power cord from the rear of it and disconnect the ethernet cable if you’re using one, then wait five minutes and plug it back in, give it some time to complete the restart.
