False bug alerts

Im having issues getting many “false” alerts and its rather annoying. Im getting moths flying about and also wondering if the camera is picking up the sound of crickets at night time and it then records a quick video…?? Im trying to atm…capture a wild ferrel cat so i know where to set the trap vut going through all these videos every 2-3 mins is just ridiculous. Ive played with the human detection and the motion sensor turned off the audio recording and also changed the recording zone. I live rural so no cars or neighbors to set it off just flting orb moths sigh!! Ive set it to human detection and all motion but no matter what one i get all the notifications regardless of what the camera is seeing as moving or hearing…plz help im not very up to knowledge with these things but need a solution as right now i see it as a pain in the butt more than useful.

I’m setting turn off all motion and maybe turn down sensitivity

There’s not much you can do, the only thing is to lower the Detection Sensitivity.
The motion detection option is only Human or All Motion if you select human, during the night time it will revert to detect all motion.
If you have sound detection turned on, to all sound, yes it will pick up loud crickets and record, lowering the sensitivity can stop this.

This is very common with the SoloCam S220 at night. It’s not sound it’s the IR night light and high sensitivity picking up moths and insects. Set sensitivity to Low, turn off “All Motion” and use Human/Animal detection with Smart AI, turn off audio detection, and shrink the detection zone to just the ground. If you can, lower the IR or angle the camera away from walls and plants since moths are attracted to the IR light.
