I have mounted my floodlight and it won’t connect to my wifi…? Compatible with 5G network.
All of eufy cameras need to be connected to the 2.4Ghz network as they are incompatible with 5ghz networks
@almmjm the trick is that your phone or device that you are using to setup the floodlight needs to be on the 2.4ghz wifi network not the 5ghz.
After weeks of not being able to connect to wifi I finally sorted it out. We have the telstra wifi and their new router is 5G. What you have to do is go into the telstra gateway, admin, go to wifi, and scroll down on the 2.4g connection and untick the box where it says Band Steering Enabled. This will then allow you to connect to your 2.4ghz or your 5ghz connection. Obviously connected to the 2.4 and working fine again! Hope this helps.
