My farewell letter to my Eufy SoloCam S40 (if I win, lol)
Itās hard saying goodbye to my trusty SoloCam S40 (First Gen)ā youāve seen it all: late-night pizza parties, nosy birds raising their next generation, and me trying to outsmart the sprinklers. You stood guard faithfully, powered by the sun and stubborn determination for over 5 years. With your camera lens and solar panel frosted over, you never strayed from keeping my family safe. But even legends deserve retirement. The new EufyCam S4 has arrived ā 4K sharpness, smarter AI, and battery life. Itās like handing the keys from a loyal old dog to a cybernetic puppy. So hereās to the next chapter of my home security ā brighter, sharper, and just as watchful.
I know itās hard to say goodbye but the time has come.

Farewell to my old cam!
This old Blink camera has served me for years, but lately itās struggling ā the image quality drops at night, the battery drains too fast, and the connection cuts out in bad weather. Iād love to upgrade to the eufyCam S4 for its sharper 4K detail, longer battery life, and subscription-free smart features that would finally give me peace of mind around my home.
My s340 aka the nightwatch has served beautifully, it just canāt keep up with both sides of the house. Itās been watching my driveway with dedication. Now I need more coverage but my s340 already has a spot in the backyard once my S4 takes over the driveway and entrance. Iām going to live the automation and hard wire option. 24/7 recording to the homebase was missed when a house near me got robbed and I didnāt catch the license plate but with the s4 that will not be a problem
Farewell to my old camera! It served its purpose but missed too many key moments ā blurry footage, slow alerts, and blind spots that left me guessing. Iāve dreamed of a camera that can track in both directions, zoom automatically, and keep watch day and night. The eufyCam S4 sounds like the perfect upgrade ā smart, sleek, and exactly what my home needs for true peace of mind. Goodbye, old tech ā hello, hybrid security! 
Perched bravely atop the shipping container, powered by the worldās sketchiest extension cord, it watched one direction with quiet determination ā except when it tripped the breaker.
It didnāt move. It didnāt blink. It didnāt record much, but it was there.

I have the S340 and have had it synced it release this has been a game changer for not only security but to watch my kids while playing outside!!. Being able to rotate and focus on the important things really sets this camera apart. Unfortunately for me itās not enough. As a father of 4 beautiful children Iām only able to really watch 1 kid unless the others are in frame.. with the new solo cam however, Iād be able to watch all of my kids with the fixed camera and still be able to have the flexibility of the 360 look!! Can you imagine that all in one!! So instead of being able to track one subject Iād be able to see all at once. Thank you for reading my post! 
I have two cameras that are going out and dying that arenāt catching what theyāre supposed to. One of them is hanging by the cord from the weather and the other one got a bunch of moisture up in it and now has giant blind spots where I would watch over the kids and animals.
The newer camera with all of its capabilities would be able to follow everything that these ones did all in one then hopefully I can be alerted before my dog decides to play with porcupines again.
Bye-bye, Ring cameraāthose monthly fees and cloud data hassles are history! Iām switching to the eufyCam S4 to ditch pricey subscriptions and enjoy total control with HomeBase 3ās local storageāperfect for security buffs! The S4ās dual-view, auto-zoom tracking in HD, smart alerts, and nonstop guarding are a dream. Imagine winning this gem and saying goodbye to costs forever! Itās a game-changer for peace of mindācount me in for this exciting upgrade!

I need a bit more reliability, and hope to be able to keep that vigilant eye and also track any perpetrators movements, I just fear that the front area just be too highly trafficked for you to perform as well as Iād like. Youāve had your fair share of hiccups over these months, showing me phantom cars and people seem to slip through your blind spot only to reappear much further away. With the S4 as your replacement, Iām hoping to have these little kinks of yours worked out, with additional features such as zoom and track ability all from one device, than the three of you.
Donāt fret though, you may be retired soon, but you may still be able to putter around in the back.

Out with my old trusted Eufycam 3 (S330) and Floodlight Cam 2 Pro (erm, also S330). Both have been great for the many years Iāve had them. The Floodlight Camera does all it can, but thatās a lilā limited nowadays compared to when it was new (no facial recognition, vehicle or pet detection). My Eufycam 3 has gone above and beyond, but heās also tired and ready to take a break, moving to a less heavily trafficked spot somewhere around my home.
I have always thought that it made sense to merge a fixed and pan/tilt camera and finally Eufy has done it. Call me a brand loyalist, Iām now ready to move on from my old friends. With the Eufycam S4 Wifi, I can replace both the S330 Floodlight Cam AND the S330 Battery Cam with a single device (hopefully my home will look a little less, intimidating? prison-like? camera-y?) Not only that, but since my internet (modem and router) are each on big uninterruptible power supplies that last hours, it means that I would have a working 4K Fixed+Pan/Tilt camera working DURING an extended power outageā¦yes! No blind spot in sight!
So pick me!..send 2 even!, I need to replace my S340 and S330 in the back of my home as well (I know, greedy

As a single mom of 3 without any job, it is hard to protect my house with only one camera. I love the if you camera ever since I got it. Unfortunately, I donāt have any other ones. That have that in my front yard. I need one in my backyard which is very dark in the back. My dogās always working and Iām scared to go look. This is a very busy neighborhood and I just want to feel protected as I do in the front with you can please pick me to win the free camera. I know others people will love it and have registered. Ah, goodbye Netvueā¦ trusted old static camera. The āalmost but not quite good enoughā friend of old. Remember that time the police called round because the neighbours had a break-in? The fresh-faced CID officer so excited to get irrefutable evidence of the perpetrator? I just canāt forget the crushing disappointment he tried to hide when we realised it had all happened just off camera. Even the tea and biscuits I offered couldnāt console him. So, itās time to retire you because I need to raise my standing in society after that

This old faithful has been doing well for me in the last 6-7 years. With package stealing on the rise, it would be beneficial to have a camera that could capture higher details. I also wanted to be more environmentally responsible. With the amount of sunlight we have here in the South, I wanted to move to solar as much as possible.
I have had this cheap camera for so long, it worked great for a few months. Its constantly losing signal and has missed multiple important events. Ive had my car hit on the street twice, 2 dog attacks have happened on my sidewalk. Ive wanted eufy cameras for a long time but couldnt afford the upgrade at the time. I think if i won one, that would solve my sercurity issues once and for all. Thank you
