Why can’t we still get a voice notification on our Google Home speakers when someone rings the doorbell? What’s the point of the E340 doorbell “working with Google”? A mere live stream from the doorbell camera is completely pointless, isn’t it? The whole point is to get a notification when someone’s at the door.
The device’s product page (eufy Video Deurbel E340: Batterij/Bedraad - eufy NL) states that this is possible. “Pair with a chime to hear notifications throughout your home: Connects to your existing chime, or pairs with eufy HomeBase S280, eufy HomeBase S380, eufy Minibase Chime (T8023), Alexa devices, and Google Voice Assistant devices.”
