Having issues adding my Homebase S380 to my network. Everything is hooked up correctly but once I scan the qr code on the bottom it gives me a message about connecting to iOS home etc. Anyone experienced this problem?

about 6 months ago I bought a 2nd home base 3 and a 1TB hard drive (that I installed before initial start up) and I couldn’t get it to add to my network. I finally decided to remove the hard drive (that hadn’t been formatted yet because it was new) and try again and it added perfectly then I shut it down, installed the hard drive and formatted it and everything is working perfectly now. Don’t know if this is your same situation but try removing the hard drive 1st. Good luck let me know how it goes
