Struggling to setup #Homebase S380. While following to app instructions, it gets to a point where it says wait 1 min for homebase light to turn blue from red. But it doesn’t turn blue. After I left it on for few hours I noticed it had turned blue. So followed the app instructions and scanned the homebase and it says reset. Done that and back to same deadens again.
Hi, just want to confirm you have an ethernet cable connected to it and your phone’s Bluetooth is on correct?
Here’s a few troubleshooting things…
Make sure you have connected the HomeBase 3 to your WiFi router’s LAN port using a Ethernet cable. The Ethernet port’s indicator light on the back of the HomeBase 3 should be green if it is connected without issue. If not, please try using another Ethernet cable or WiFi router port to troubleshoot the issue.
Make sure your smartphone is using the 2.4 GHz of your homes WiFi router & Bluetooth on.
Try rebooting / restarting your home’s Wi-Fi router.
There’s a reboot and then a reset, the reboot requires unplugging the power cord and the ethernet cable from the HB3.
The reset requires you to keep it plugged in and insert a paper clip into the bottom of the HB3 reset Hole and hold it in until you get a confirmation.
